Hello, name is Angie Rout and I am a PhD student in the Computational Media Design program.
I am researching Human-Computer Interaction design methods and applying them to architectural practice. This is especially helpful when looking at public projects that require user participation. I am excited about the merging of two seemingly disparate disciplines and finding that they have more in common than one may expect, and I am finding many ways that the two disciplines can learn from each other.
I have a Master’s degree in Architecture, and have worked in architecture offices, and as a consultant for the last ten years. I am a mother of three and dabble in art and illustration when I get the chance.
I have a blog chronicling my work, which can be found at http://angiesschoolpage.blogspot.ca/
